PROJECTS DETAILS

The Project  An immersive storytelling experience for children at FEI YUE EIPIC, delivered through Singapore Repertory Theatre as part of a Singapore Pools CSR initiative. The programme worked with children on the autism spectrum and children with intellectual disabilities.

The Approach  The storytelling process used drama, sensory engagement, movement, and participation. Rather than positioning Singapore Pools employees only as observers or volunteers, they were invited into the storytelling process and became active participants in the dramatic world.

The Focus•  Accessible participation

• Immersive and tactile storytelling

• Responsive facilitation between adult volunteers and children on autism spectrum and with intellectual disability

• Different entry points into the story.

Why the Process Matters  The experience was designed to create a shared creative space where children and adults could enter the story together. Allow meaningful participation of the volunteers.
